I took up the sysfs-based approach in my own (golang-based) project: https://github.com/mhemeryck/unipitt

Basically, it does active polling on a series of files, representing the different inputs and pushes out an MQTT-event in case there's a change.

is it something you are able to demonstrate? The best thing would be, if you could send us the SD card image and we would be able to replicate the problem.

How could I ask for input states through websocket, without using "all" query message? For example ideally I would like to ask about the state of one spesific input ? Or perhaps state of all inputs.
