      :D

Oh yeah. I missed that part 🙈:

you need to upload the module's configuration "Configure Unipi Module". See more about it here: https://kb.unipi.technology/en:sw:01-mervis:unipi-configure-module-hidden

      Thanks for your help! :-)

    • Troubles with AI_02.04 specifically

      Hello all,
I have troubles measuring my PT100 on the AI_02.04 input connection. I applied the same configuration as I did for the other AI_02.xx ones. Those work fine since months. Only the AI_02.04 connection which I wanted to use now shows me the constant value of -246.861.

Does anyone else had or has such a problem? What am I doing wrong? 🤔

    • RE: Analog output 0-10V

      Hey again,

I could solve the problem. I should have read the docs in more detail:
"The register expects values in range of 0 – 4000 which equals the range of 0 – 10 V." 👌
Sorry for spamming the forum here...

    • Analog output 0-10V

      Dear community,

I'm struggling in configuring the 0-10 V output. I'd like to use the AO_2.01_w output where a 2 kOhm resistor is installed. I configured the output similarly to a previously discussed topic: UniPi L503 - mervis - Analog output 0-10V | value 0-100
The global variable (type = REAL) which is connected to the output is set to constant 10. I tried 100 as well. (I used the the two point scaling x1=0, x2=100, y1=0, y2=100, so no scaling basically...) However, I can't measure an appropriate voltage difference over the resistor in any case.
Does anyone has an ideas what I'm doing wrong?

      Thanks for your help,
      Matthias

    • RE: measuring Temperature with AI

Solved by: The pre K value was set to 0.1 as described in the documentation. I set it back to 1. With one every measurement is working properly.

Question: Could you explain in more detail how the pre and post K and Q values are working. I'm a bit confused. Obviously its just a matter of scaling since for Pt1000 the pre K factor need to be set to 0.1. So for Pt500 the pre K factor should be set to 0.5? Am I correct?

    • measuring Temperature with AI

      Dear Community,

I'm new to unipi and mervis and put up and since I could solve my first problem that my second one ^^.
History: After reading the documentation more carefully I recognized the need of "configuring the module", to change the I/O settings of my module. Until then I got the value -246.861. This is solved. :-)
Now a new issue appeared. I set up three Pt100 measurements with the same configuration. Two giving a reasonable value. Around 25 °C, but the first one shows -220 °C. Any ideas why? The same values appear when interchanging the sensors.
      I'm using a brand new L523 module.
I enclosed some pictures for trouble shooting.

Thanks in advance for your help.
      /Matthias
