this is not planned, nor it makes sense from the architecture point of view. The SysFS endpoints are generated from the Unipi kernel module, which is aware of the HW it is running on, but not aware of any peripheral devices.

The only way right now is the Evok, or you can directly poll the devices over ModbusRTU. We have some internal discussion from time to time about adding support for extensions to our ModbusTCP service. So far, no work has been done on that part.

It is possible, but it requires using our image instead of Raspbian. You should be able to use /sys/devices/platform/unipi_plc to find out more information about the system, or simply run "sudo dmesg" after boot, as the image driver performs automatic diagnostics.

2.05a seems to have fixed this error too - the extensions are fully populated and the send events now (the old version didnt send events too as i had to discover).

We don't have an upgrade procedure yet. We plan to move to using debian packages, which will make the problem a lot easier, but for now you should just use a clean system.

Installing EVOK twice on the same SD Card installation/image might break something, depending on various factors.

thx for answering.

i think that maybe a subsequent softwareupdate was the cause.

but i just started over with a clean noobs/raspbian, updated all packages and installed evok and then openhab and in the moment all works fine and at the same time.

i hope the problem will not arise again and i can happily start playing with openhab and evok.
next time i will have a spare sd lying around so i can backup the erroneous to analyse the causes.

Hi....On the off chance that you need to depend on a steady framework and find support in a crisis case the main route is to ask the network and ideally they will support you, if not. you can help yourself are the issue won't fixed.

In my ealry days I attempted to not depend on these open source frameworks because of the missing profound help as referenced in the first post.
