    • RE: read 1W-TH-IB2 values by HTTP/HTTPS or modbus TCP-IP

      Kryštof,

A found all the correct puzzle part ;)

The xG18 can only handle single value 1-wire sensors, the 1W-TH-IB2 has multiple sensors (temperature and humidity). So the xG18 I can't use. I need to connect all the sensors directly to the 1 wire connector (by splitters)

How many 1W-TH-IB2 sensors can I connect by on the 1-wire connector? 2 seems to work fine with the splitter. Does it work with a hub to?

Now I don't get values from 1W-TH-IB2's The coils seem to be correct (1-8) so what am I overlooking?

I found that I needed to uncomment another line:

      comm_channels:
      Now the

xG18 is visible in the system tab.
After restarting the unipi, the RXTX of the Unipi started to blink (RS485 communication) and the values are visible in the evok-web page.

    • RE: read 1W-TH-IB2 values by HTTP/HTTPS or modbus TCP-IP

I have reinstalled EVOK and got the default evok-web page.

All evok configuration is yaml, so now I want to configure the xG18, and I want to create the connection, without succes.

on the xG18 I have the jumpers set to
      1 2 3 4 5 6
ON ON OFF OFF OFF OFF

that would result in: address 3 and bautrate of 19200 with a negative(N) Parity.
      So this is my configuration.
Now it is not clear to me what I need to configure in the xG18.yaml to read out the 1W-TH-IB2? I would like to read the temperature and humidity. Is there any example available?

Is nobody using the Analog output (0-10V) to dim LED lights?

Re: read Indoor air quality sensor RW-TH

      Hello Kryštof,

My appologies for the confusion. I was talking about the 1W-TH-IB2 sensors (this is the 1-Wire bus, designed to measure temperature an relative air humidity in building interiors).

Because I have more then 5 rooms I want to measure, I want to use the xG18 module to connect all the sensors. Then I want to read the values by REST/modbus (for example). There I have an issue by connecting my unipi (with mervis and even with EVOK). The idea was that I could read the values with 'modbus TCP-IP' of with 'HTTP/HTTPS' (by EVOK).

At this moment I placed the RS485 connection between the Unipi and the xG18, but it looks like I can not bet the 2 talking to eachother. Even I followed all the steps (in mervis I used the mervis as client that connects to the xG18) an evok (same setup). It seems I am doing something wrong? can you help me out please

    • RE: Issues finding the correct block

Maybe somebody can help me out with a dimmer function. I want to use a push button and use a AO as output.

When I puls it should go on/off, and when you push long, It should dim more/less.

I can't figger it out. I am wondering through the documentation and can't find the right block(s)
      What block(s) should I use ?
      Anybody any ideas?

    • Issues finding the correct block

In my mervis program I have an Analog output A201 that I want to trigger by 1 DI (button). short push is ON/OFF. Long push is to dim the light UP/DOWN.

The documentation is advising to use the AOI block, but the documentation is not clear to me.

      Input:
      mode 0 -> is 0-10V
target_value REAL -> what is needed here?
Vref_1 INT -> what is needed here?
VrefInt_1 INT -> what is needed here?
      A0_A_DEV_1 INT
      AO_A_Offset_1
      A0_V_DEV_1 INT
      AO_V_Offset_1 INT
      AIO_1 INT
      AIO_V_Offset_1 INT
      measuring current INT
These I do not understand, it speeks of ... needs to be connected to the ... of the device. But I only have the Analog input of the dimmer (0-10V), can somebody give me some information about this function block please
      Output:
      AO_1 -> AO_202

Can somebody give me some clear information about this functionblock, or do I need an other block?

I have other brands that are simple and cleare, here I have no clue what to do. Please clear this out for me.

    • UniPi L503 - mervis - Analog output 0-10V | value 0-100

In a program with dimmers we use the AO's to dim a 0-10V module.
That works fine, but it is not clear to us why the analoge output has a 0-10V voltage, and a 0-100 value(in the properties of mervis). Where the first 0-10 value represents the 0-10V on the exit.
How can we use the 0-100 value that represents the 0-10V on the exit (example a value of 25 would result in a 2.5V on the output).
If it would not be clear: When we now reach a value of 10 we have already reached the 10 volt on the output, the other 90 values, do not make any difference.

Is there a solution for this (some configuration,...)?

      @TomasKnot

Indeed, I installed EVOK Release v.2.0.5c, and it works like it should ;)
      Thank you very much!
